something else that I use, do you know those roll up bamboo blankets? I know they have them at Walmart. They stay cool and you can shake the sand off of them easily. I find that it's nicer for them to lay on that than a blanket. I happened to find one at Target that folded up in thirds so the roll is like the size of a small purse. It's really a matter of personal preference but I like it because you can shake the sand out easily and they stay cool. Sounds like you are getting everthing together.
