definitely take something that will shade her. I would also think about getting a life jacket so you can dunk her in the water to cool her off too. I like to make sure that they know what to do if they ever find themselves in the water. We have put them in it with and without a life jacket to make sure that they understand and not be afraid of water.

We we just at the beach this past weekend and I didn't think about bringing a bigger bowl for them to eat or drink. By the time they drank out of the smaller bowl, it was filled with sand from their facial hair. lol Poor Hot Rod ate more sand than food. His little nose was covered in sand when the food was out. lol Have fun at the beach.
