AS for the boots, yes chloe has worn shoes before but only for photos/modeling. The situation with dog shoes is yes they never like them at first but you are supposed to get them used to wearing them. I just never got around to this yet until today with chloe. Once I put those boots on her I left them on her for a few hours and after awhile she got really good at walking in them. I encouraged her to walk towards me using treats. I dont think she minds them now. My chihuahua still hates shoes and we have tried several times with her. She prances all funny in them. I wouldnt recommend leaving shoes on a dog unsupervised. Im so excited though because chloe did really well and my back yard is covered in ice- so just in time!
