Poor baby! He was trying to tell you that he needed to potty!
Don't feel bad, I've done that to Fynn before. He'll be pacing - which is his sign - and I just thought he was trying to get my cat. Low and behold, a few minutes later, I went over to where he was pacing and he had peed a really big pee right in the middle of the floor. He was all upset and he ran to my mom like I was going to be bad at him. I just cleaned it up and gave him a little lovin' and gave him a treat.
