Last night, Bilbo got his bath and pedi. Usually, he will just lie down and let me nip his nails. I have NEVER gotten into the quick, and he usually tolerates it very well. Last night, he was very wiggly and trying to get up and it took about three times longer than normal. When I let him down, he ran away without his treat, ran back to the bedroom and jumped on the bed, where my husband was watching TV. I came to get him and he was acting scared and ashamed. I picked him up, and he had peed on the bed. I'm not talking about a little tinkle, I'm talking about a flood!

I think he was so wiggly because he needed to go outside, and I didn't pay attention to his signals. Naturally, my husband was pretty annoyed, but I felt terrible for making Bilbo hold it and then have an accident. I just picked him up, took him outside, changed the sheets and left it at that.
