I do the same with roxie... although she doesnt like cookies or treats so i just give her lots of love afterwards (which is aesome because its free!!) but i also use grooming wipes from her mouth to her butt and then a new one on her feet... i clean her tush because she *scoots*
and after having her tested for worms and checking her anal glands (yuck) the vet figured out that my furbutt is obsessive about her clean butt thus the after walk cleaning....
Grooming wipes have become my best friend they not only clean but they smell good too!!
