[Vinniedoggy]

My older yorkie, Vinnie, had a bad experience jumping off a high bed a few years ago. Ever since, he has been hesitant to jump off the bed. I looked at steps, but our bedroom isn't really big enough. What I did was get a folded exercise mat and put it next to our bed. I taught him to jump on that soft surface first, and then jump off the mat onto the floor. Worked like a charm. He quickly caught on that he could land on that safely and then get to the floor. He only jumps off the side of the bed where the mat is. The mat is just a folded exercise mat that I got from Sports authority.
