 False Pregnancy after being spayed July 16, 2010.
Hello, I am new to this board and I've been reading quite a bit about False pregnancy after being spayed. My Nina was spayed July 16th and it went well, thank God. After her surgery her nipples got swollen and even had milk when the vet squeezed one of them. It's been 1 month and 1/2 and Nina is still swollen. She's been on Antibiotics for 10 days, Biomox.
Her nipple area is very tender to the touch and she whimpers when she's carried. The vet says this is normal for False Pregnancy and the antibiotics should take care of the problem.
Has anyone ever had this problem? What concerns me is the tenderness she's having.
