Default Getting off the bed

Well the day has finally come when Ms Lily has learned to jump up on my bed. The bed is higher than the average bed so the standard doggie stairs have not been high enough to reach. I have 2 girls. Lola has tried to make it up but so far has been unsucessful. However, I am sure it is just a matter of time now.

Has anyone had to get steps for their little ones that are higher than normal? I am very nervous about them getting down as they just fly right off the sid. They also paly when they are up on the bed and I'm afraid they are going to tumble over the side. (they both hip & elbow dysplasia - so not a good idea)

I did buy some steps before but they were not high enough and they were very steep and shallow. I was thinking maybe I could make something for them out of the foam blocks or something like that.

Any help would be appreciated.
