I agree that Royal Canin should not be considered premium. I also feed Orijen because, like you said, it's better food than what I eat. I seriously doubt the food I buy consist of free-range chicken with no hormones, wild catch ocean and lake fishes (I think the salmon I eat are farm raised, unless I buy premium from Trader Joe's), and lots more.
