Dehydrator I ordered came on Friday

Saturday we went to the commissary and bought some 97% ground beef and some sweet potatoes.
I mixed the ground meat with a beaten egg and a little shredded cheese then added a cooked mashed sweet potato. Formed it into thin strips and put in the dehydrator. Took about 6 hours at 160^.
Beamer and Lil Bit loved them, and SugarMamma was visiting with Sugar Baby, so Sugar Baby got to try them too and she seemed to love them too.
I have them stored in the refrigerator in ziplock bags - but I may just transfer some to the freezer to make sure they keep longer, and just keep enough in the refrigerator for a couple days worth of treats.
Going to dehydrate sweet potato chips next- Sugarmamma brought some treats with her too and some of them were dehydrated sweet potato chips, and although Lil Bit and Beamer didn't seem to care much for them at first, they ate some later. But Bruce liked them anyway - so I can give him a treat when he is good
