We have the console carseat for Rowdy. He loves it - he's right between my hubby and I (when we are in the car together) and he loves that. I'm short so he's right up by my shoulder and can lay his head on my shoulder or rest his front paws on my arm (while I'm holding the steering wheel). But mostly he just sits up and watches where we are going. When we are on a long trip, he just lays down and sleeps. His seat attaches to the seat belts on each side and to the console itself so that it is very secure. It has a strap that attaches to his harness to keep him safe. I just love it and wouldn't travel at all without it anymore.
