Ah Ha! Another Mommie being trained! Puppies love to sleep with Mommie! They crave the warmth and security they get when sleeping next to their most favorite being in the whole world! If you're worried about him falling off the bed... get some old, thick comforters and cover the floor around the bed so if he does fall, he'll have a cushiony landing. Or get some bed rails. This is assuming that you're okay with him sleeping in bed with you. If not, don't do it and he won't know what he's missing... oh, too late for that! Or, get a sleeping bag and sleep on the floor with him... to see if he'll sleep through the night with you. I think Yorkies sleeping in bed is one benefit of Yorkie ownership... it makes them so happy and really gives them a sense of belonging. When people don't allow it, they are missing out on so much! |
