I've had best luck with Revolution from my vet. I've never had any luck with grocery/superstore(PetsMart, Petco) brands and some can be toxic. Dawn dish detergent will knock down if not kill fleas on her, and use a sprayer to rinse any out of her coat. The blow dry her to get any hangers-on. You can treat your carpeting with regular table salt, sprinkle liberally and allow to sit overnight then vacuum in the morning. It dehydrates any fleas in the carpeting/furniture. Don't forget to empty the vacuum right afterwards.
