Piccolo choked on a rawhide bone a couple of years ago. I was very lucky that I was able to reach deep in her mouth/throat a pull it out, especially since no one else was home to help me. That's exactly what Keoki choked on- you are so lucky- if you read the Heimlich article it says to try never to reach in the throat because dogs have little bones in the back of their throat that people mistake for food, rawhide, etc- and they can break- SO SCARY! I am so glad Picolo is o.k.
