Hi CouversMom -
I have PetPlan for Bonnie. The way I figure it is: at $230 per year (cost for the best plan) , I would have to save for ten years to pay a 2300 LP surgery or accident. If she got hurt or needed surgery in year 3, I would only have $690 saved. (I know I could save more). So, I feel insurance is my safest bet. Of course, like all insurances, they are hoping you don't need to use it, in which case the saving account would come out ahead. I just don't want to take that chance.

OH YEAH, there is a very good sticky about pet insurance at the top - very interesting info.
