And-----when you stop and she stops, throw a treat way behind you. She will go back to get the treat, you start walking and she has to catch up. Keep this up and eventually she will always be following you. Might take awhile to be patient. Our Cooper was a real puller until we went to training class. Now he is an excellent walker. When in training, every time he walked right beside us and looked at us he got a small training treat. he soon figured that was the only way to get rewarded. |
