I know the obvious answer is to prevent them in the first place. But once they do occur, is there an easy/ preferred way of removing them?

Scarlett is going to have an extremely thick coat and she loves to roll around and rough house. Unfortunately she also HATES being brushed out. So what can I do to minimize the stress on her and me as her coat is growing back out?
