My husband's dog, Falcon, is an EskiPoo, part American Eskimo part Poodle. He weighs about 25 lbs. and has an IQ of zilch, not easily trainable. He spent most of the first part of his life as a lone dog in the house, pretty much doing what he wanted. He has lived with my two Yorkies for the last 10 months. He now wants to play with them. The problem is that he pounces on top of them, not understanding that he is much bigger than they are and can hurt them. My husband finally found work so the three dogs will be home alone a lot more. We have left them alone together for full days on several occasions without issue. My husband says they sleep most of the day. How do we train Falcon not to jump on my Yorkies? How have other Yorkie owners dealt with the issue of having a larger dog in the house?
