I've had animals in my life my entire life. Can't imagine not being cuddled up with one on the couch. The only time I didn't have dogs was right after my dh and I were first married, as our apartment wouldn't allow it.
When we bought our first home, we didn't even wait to have boxes completely unpacked before we brought home our beautiful golden girl.
It's not a home without a dog.
