Thought I would share this with everyone. Many of you may already know that this works for getting mats out but I had never heard of it before and I tried it and it worked great. I had tried other detanglers before but couldn't get Bella's mats out and she has a cottony coat.

I used baby powder, you can use any talcum powder. I just put some right on the mat and worked it in with my fingers and then used a slicker brush and slowly brushed the mat out. I was amazed at how painless it was for Bella, she sat there the whole time and let me do this which has never happened before and it got the mats out completely. Hope this helps some of you.
