I'm so glad to hear all this positive reinforcement, because we too will be leaving Miki, but only for 3 days. I was concerned too. She goes
everywhere with us and this will be the first time she will be without either one of us for an extended period of time. The friend that will be watching her told me she will have her phone on at all times, and that we can call anytime. We will be out of town for my daughters wedding. I wanted to take her with but my daughter (who adores Miki), said no way Mom! She said "It's my day to be in the spot light, & Miki always gets all the attention, so she can't come!" LOL
My husband already said that if we take a vacation this winter it has to be somewhere that we can take her with.....this coming from a man that didn't want a dog in our lives!!!
Sometimes I think he spoils her worse than I do!
I don't know who will be happier to see the other, her or us, when we get back.
By the way your little Poppy is absolutely adorable!!!!
I guess we will both have to remember the old saying.... absence makes the heart grow fonder... is that even possible?
Have a wonderful time on your trip & I'm sure our furbabies will still love us when we come back to them!
