Default We have shared why

Meghan I truly wish and hope for the best for you and your puppy; it seems like you will go ahead with this purchase.

Remember that we will be here for you, when this "breeder" will likely not be.

Please if you can ask her about what breed specific tests have been done on the parents. These are Bile Acid Test (BAT), CERF for PRA (Progressive Retinal Atrophy), OFA Xrays and evualtion for patellas, hips, and elbows. Heart and Thyroid.

Your pup will need to be tested at 16 wks and then repeat again with the BATS test. Liver shunt is not rare in this breed, and is a condition that needs to be recognized early, and treated early. And just so you know her health guarantee does not cover Liver Shunt.

PRA is genetic and over time your dog goes blind. Again not covered by your health guarantee.

The Xrays will tell you about the health of the joints. Some dogs have crippling diseases that causes severe pain every time they take a step. Treatment is expensive, and often involves surgery. Some of these conditions are genetic, particularly when they show up in a young dog. Again Not covered by your health guarantee.

Finally cardiomyopathy is an enlargement of the heart, which leads eventually to an early death. Again not covered by your health guarantee.

The very best advice I can give you besides NOT to buy from this BREEDER, is to purchase IMMEDIATELY a good pet insurance that will Cover Genetic Defects.
