We have a puppy going on five months old. When we first got her at twelve weeks she would pee in her crate. I put a washable pee pad in there at night and she would use that. Now I don't put a pee pad in there she sleeps all night but I do get her up to go potty on a pee pad in the kitchen. We are training her for the inside and it is working out great. When they are little they can't hold their pee they have to go several times especially in the day. I also make the crate a fun thing and lots of toys. I learned on this site about bullysticks and that works great when she is in the crate. And yes I did alot of washing but I keep her clean and always a warm fleece blantket. Thanks everybody on Yt for all the good imformation. Also our baby still has mistakes and we never holler at her. Lots of patience and love and this will work out for you. In the long run your baby will learn ; enjoy her and give her lots of love. Also I have the bolt on 8 oz. cups so she has food and water at all times especially at night. Sue
