DH and I plan on purchasing a home when we are in Florida in October to be used as our vacation home until DH retires. We plan on doing several small trips alone during the year, but thinking of maybe doing 2 week trips in the Summer.

I've never left the furbutts alone for more than 3 to 4 nights (because I miss them terribly) they are spoiled enough to be able to be at home with either my daughter and/or my son, and have even stayed with my parents. But I'm wondering if we should include them in the Summer and have them start getting used to that house? Maybe not the Summer of 2011 because I'm sure we'll be doing some major cleaning, painting, flooring, etc . . .or do you think it would be too much of a disruption going from one house to another?
