You can't let your dog 'accidentally' get pregnant and then leave for a week when things aren't going so good. These pups are YOUR responsibility and it's your responsibility to keep them ALIVE.
Hopefully, you have figured out you are not cut out for breeding and will have your females spayed.
I am sorry you lost the pups.
