I've read things like this before so recently I asked the board certified vet nutritionist and she told me that coprophagia is a behavioral issue and that it is a myth that it is related to nutrition.
Pineapple works for us, Teddy smells better with pineapple breath, so whether it is a myth or not, I keep a steady supply of pineapple chunks in our freezer. I think I have no less than 3 bags at a time!
