This could well be something that the mother or father passed onto the babies and your pup could still be a carrier.
Did your breeder ever find out what was wrong with the other pup?

the other puppy was fine, the vet said just not to touch that lump on her head and it should go down. he said she probably ran into something. she had all types of xrays done. but shes a happy little puppy with the breeders grandmother. yeah i'm not trying to breed Hazel =]
