My toy poodle came down sick on sunday..she too was hiding out in her kennel and wouldnt come near my hubby or I, which is very unusal for her because she is very much a lap dog and needs to be by people. She spent the day at the vets on Monday. When she came home, she still wouldnt come near ME.. everytime I got up to move around she would shake and hide under the table or run to her kennel. I have never hurt her in anyway. She was this way on tuesday and wednesday and finally yesterday she didnt hide under the table or in her kennel at all and she let me pet her some, she got on my lap and gave me one small little kiss..
.. so she is coming around, but I still cant figure out why she was so upset with me. If your postive that nothing is wrong, then give it some time. Talk sweet to her and pet her alot when she will allow it. She will come around.
