That video is only a one-sided view of dog breeding and dog breeders put out by an animal rights group. There are always good and bad breeders and good and bad exhibitors. This video ONLY portrayed 3 or 4 bad breeders. Thats it. They didnt interview any good breeder/exhibitors. As with any dog purchase, you need to research the breeder and the dogs they have bred. German Shepherds are one of the breeds that, IMO, the show breeders have ruined. The legs are horrendous. I agree, German(from Germany) shepherds are usually a better dog. But there again, you need to research the breeder. Not all of them are healthy either.
No true, died in the wool, dog lover, breeder, exhibitor would purposely breed for the defects seen in this video.
