Awww....your poor little babies. It's heartbreaking when they get hurt, they are so precious. The only sturdy yorkies I have seen were the ones that weighed 7 lbs or more. That is precisely the reason why I made it a point to search for larger males when I was looking. Maybe there are 5lbs and under yorkies who have sturdier bones, but honestly, I haven't seen them.
I'm hoping one of the breeders will have an answer for you.
By the way, we knew our boys would be 'larger', because they were each close to 4 lbs at 12 weeks.
