Don't worry. I was going to recommend that you make sure the groomer is used to handling yorkies, but since your friend's yorkie goes there, you should have no problem. I would ask them if they cage dry or blow dry, though. I found a groomer that does not cage dry because I just can't imagine my baby dripping wet in a cage, maybe cold, and definitely lonely. My groomer does not take the dogs to the back where you cannot see. She has open space with stations. You can see the cages and the stations while they work on various dogs. I just feel better about places where I can see them work. I have all kinds of mental pictures of what can happen in the back room where I cannot see. That's why I always hate to hand over my baby to the vet to take to the back.
