She doesn't look that tiny to me either. My Toto was barely 2 lbs. when she was 8 months old ... had to wait for her spay because she was too small. She is 7 yrs. now and is a very chubby 5 lbs. I can never understand why breeders say they won't get much/any bigger when they are 8 months and weigh 2-3 lbs. It's all speculation and sometimes the "rule of thumb" is indeed correct. I didn't care if Toto grew the size of a St. Bernard ... we just wanted her to be healthy and happy!
She, too, was from a show breeder and was going to be too small to show. I wonder if this person has a website?
