Do any other "Mature" as in older folks here get the Shingles shot. I was at Walgreens yesterday and they were advertising the this seasons Flu Shot. Since I was there and no one in front of me, I said let me have it! Guess it also includes the Swine Flu Virus, or as I would say, the Hog Virus. They then asked me if I ever had the Shingles shot, and if I had Chickenpox. Yes, I had it as a kid, but no shot. They suggested it so I got it. Supposed to last a lifetime. Cost of that shot without Insurance was $215. Fortunately it cost me a deductable. One less thing I will have to worry about..the Shingles! Then again, a few of these threads are worse than the Pox!
Good thing I am kinder and gentler now.
