I'm not here for sympathy, I just wanted to make it aware that we can express opinions without judging or making harmful comments to others. | If a poll was taken here on YT, you would find that most of us, myself included, have or are still involved intimately in Yorkie rescue. We see so many young "accidentally" breed pups come into our rescue. Many who have chronic issues due to genetically passed on defects. Some that are serious enough that the pup does not ever stand a chance of a normal life. Allowing two pups to breed should be a well thought out decision, one involving genetic research and testing; as the quality of life for an animal and for the owner/cargiver are at stake. Sometimes these passionate people who have to deal with what was left of an inappropriate breeding, get angry. I know I have, and have said comments which were less then appropriate for the conversation. This does not excuse the behavior at all, it just maybe explains the rationale behind the words. |
