I actually thought it was hard to teach. I just used treats with her and used her favorite toys. I would throw it and get really excited and call her name until she came up to me and give her a treat. If she stopped halfway, I would tell her "nuh uh" and take the toy and have her sit in front of me and throw it again and attempt to lure her back with an excited voice and give her a treat when she successfully brought it back to me. Now she knows when I say fetch to bring her toys back with her
