I have in the past yes bought a pup on the YTCA site but not recently. There are many reputable breeders but just as many not so reputable. I am not sure what you were looking to spend, but on that site the prices were unreal and you could find a nice looking yorkie from a great breeder for way less than that.
I know of breeders in Mass. that show and may have pups. Magic Genie on here shows and has pups I believe also. Just take your time, screen the breeders...questions to ask them.
Parents health testing? Bile acid, OFA, CERF?
References? From previous pup buyers and their vet?
Health guarantee? For?
Age when pup leaves...should be at least 12 weeks no sooner...
AKC limited papers? Spay/neuter contract?
