The cat may need time to adjust so try not to worry, my cat was the same way when I brought home my yorkie and your cat will learn to adjust. My cat took several swipes at my yorkie before my yorkie got the message. They may not be the best of friends but your cat should be okay. Just be sure to provide your cat a place just for her away from your yorkie so that she doesn't become stressed out. My cat has plenty of hiding places when my yorkie starts getting on her nerves.
