I would answer that when we were discussing this issue before most people said they didn't care if the tail was undocked and they would buy a puppy anyway if it had the tail. If I were breeding pet yorkies there is no way i would put puppies through that. I think it is cruel and purely cosmetic and done for the "show judges".
