We traveled 600 miles just last weekend and she threw up 5x on the way up and 2x on the way back. I gave her some dramamine but she still threw up. The dramamine your suppose to only give them half of a 25 mg tablet. What seemed to really help was keeping food and water from her a few hours before getting on the road and just giving her nutrical and water during the trip.
They also offer doggy motion sickness pills at the vet which I'm going to get for her since I didn't feel too comfortable giving her the dramamine. |
