 Concerns about spaying
My yorkie weighs about 3.5 lbs but may have gained some since her last visit to the vet which was about 1 mth ago. Is this a safe weight for her to get spayed at? She is already 6 mths old but I've been waiting to give her enough time to lose as many of her puppy teeth as possible if not all of them so that we can get any stragglers pulled when she gets spayed if they have not all fallen out by then.
Are there any extra precautions I should take or extra questions I should ask aside from the ones listed on the anesthesia protocol sticky? Would it be best to not have her spayed at all? I would really appreciate anyone's experienced input! thanks! |
