I don't hold the actual jaw, just the hair under her chin. I guess what I meant by "mean it" was a firm grip, close to the skin so she knows I have a hold of her. At the beginning I was just holding the end of the hair and if she would wrestle away I would let go thinking I was going to hurt her.
