You need to shave the ears first. inside and out. There are different ways to do it.
Some roll the ear and scwrap tape around it, some put a strip across from one ear to the other. Some just fold a piece of tape around it.
It usually gets caught in some of the hair, but it comes off easy.
There are videos on how to do it. I'll try to find them for you.
