I'm bad, and you all are welcome to chew me out on this public forum, because I need it. When my fiance' works nights, I can't resist cuddling with Khloe on the couch all night instead of putting her to bed in her crate. Am I helping her to get housebroken any faster? No, we will continue to have accidents until I follow through with training. Am I heading down the road to owning a spoiled dog if I keep doing this and giving in when she begs for food at the table? Absolutely. There are loved and pampered dogs, and spoiled dogs; and no one enjoys being around an overly spoiled dog. It's so hard to not give in with her. Just wanted to share our progress (or lack thereof) around here. Wish me luck; I love her and my family to pieces. I want to nurture her, but I have to learn to discipline her as well and have boundaries. Tssk, tssk.
