I was upset when the boarding kennel cut him down last November, it took several months for his coat to grow again.
I have arranged for his groomer to come over once a week, but I still need to brush and comb him daily - he loves his brushing sessions, he actually reminded me last night that he hadn't had his evening session.
But, if I miss any tangles I do know that his groomer will be here in the week, so I don't really have to spend the same amount of time.
And I think even with a summer cut, he would still get sticker things in his coat from the back yard, so I would still brush and comb him daily.
The cortisone injection helped yesterday - along with Lortab.
