Come on people. We are not talking about reputable breeders - breeding for the betterment of the breed. They are not! They are a business - period. They sell for these astronomical prices because - Yes - there is a demand for it. People don't do research. They just want a tiny, tiny cute puppy, and are willing to pay anything for what they want. They want a Masarati and not a Hyundai. They don't research the performance of the car - they just know - its cute and expensive and I want it. Whether you disagree or not makes no difference. The facts are that there are people out there and there are breeders (if that is what you want to call them) that breed for this very specific purpose - TINY. Sad..... but true. If you disagree that there is a demand for this - then you are very naive. |
