Your pup could be 9lb´s or over full grown..or of course he could be smaller

The rule of thumb (double weight at 12 weeks,triple weight at 8 weeks) doesnt always work.For some people it has been spot on,but for others it has been more like a rule of "dumb"...lol.Jess was 3 lb´s at 12 weeks,so of course we thought she would get up to about 6lb´s.But here she is at 11 months old,weighing in at almost 9lbs and STILL growing

With Lady it was the oposite.She was 8 ounces at 7 weeks,10ounces at 8weeks which meant her weight was estimated to be 2 to 3 lb´s full grown,she is 16 months old now and weighs 2lb´s

Through experience all I can say is that you will have to wait and see

There are a few factors that can change the weight pattern of your baby..one of them is spaying or neutering because after this they usually put on some extra weight.
