Soak cotton ball in warm Epson salts solution, apply to bottom three or four times a day for about ten minutes each time. With an antibiotic from vet, baby will be fine. If you can't get to vet, this will open the abcess and keep it draining.......that's what's important. Then apply something like Neosporim. Follow up with antibiotic from vet. For a baby that's inclined to have anal gland problems, doing this on a regular basis may keep an abcess at bay! Works for me! |
