Your Dad was the best of the best, and I know I would get along great with him. As an Officer, I had several former DI's work for me. They were the best.

What you wrote about the Corps reminded me of Pat Conroy's book, The Lords Of Discipline. Have you ever read it? I realize he can be controversial to a Marine because of The Citadel, but that book is one of my favorites.
