I will be keeping you in my prayers and I sure hope you won't need surgery...I don't know anything about tendons and such, maybe that's the only way to get it done correctly. Dyan |
just got back from the orthopedic surgeon. He asked if I wanted surgery or did I want to try cortisone injection first. So, I opted for the injection!
I don't know how I did it - but I did have a fall last year and fractured my left knee and tore the rotator cuff in my left shoulder. I have a feeling I did this at the same time, and it has only started being painful recently. I can't think of any other way I could have done it. But apparently it could also be caused by age related atrophy of the tendon. It's a b**ch getting old!
But will see how the cortisone injections work. If I need to have the surgery, apparently it is arthroscopic surgery so it will be minimally invasive.
